COVID-19: monitor your health with your fingertip pulse oximeter
A diagnosis is complete and fast with finger pulse oximeters.
The future depends on what we do today.
The review of products selected by Carlo De Giorgi to support professionals in this moment of emergency continues. Among the personal protective equipment, we have chosen to include the fingertip pulse oximeters.
The devices are able to monitor hemoglobin saturation and heart rate through the patient’s finger, providing an immediate reading of the values on the displays.
Why we chose the finger pulse oximeters.
Both products have been selected by Carlo De Giorgi for their ability to provide fundamental information quickly and in total safety.
These non-invasive devices allow to measure the oxygen saturation of the hemoglobin present in the blood (SpO2) and the heart rate (FC). These parameters are necessary to know the health situation of the patients.
With the pulse oximeters you can know immediately if the Sp02 levels are lower than 95% and in this case proceed with the procedures indicated for the COVID-19.
How they work
The pulse oximetry can be practiced both by doctors and health professionals, and at home and not necessarily by specialized personnel.
The aim is to control how well the heart is pumping oxygen through the whole body. The two models proposed are considered to be high precision instruments and guarantee safe repeatability.
